Applied Intuition will supply its in-vehicle operating system software and, leveraging native AI development tools, support Nissan's research and development of next-generation software-defined vehicles (SDVs), further deepening a partnership between the two companies that began in 2020.

Applied Intuition, a leading provider of physical AI solutions for a wide range of mobile devices, announced today that it will deploy its AI-driven software development tools to Nissan Motor to support the research and development of AI-defined vehicles (AIDVs).

As part of this collaboration, Applied Intuition will use its in-vehicle operating system software to help Nissan build a scalable, open next-generation in-vehicle software platform.

Applied Intuition's software teams in Japan and Silicon Valley will work alongside Nissan's domestic engineering teams in Japan to shorten software development cycles and accelerate the research and development of native AI vehicles.
