MKS Instruments' stock surged 7.76% in after-hours trading on Wednesday, following the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results that significantly exceeded analyst expectations.

The semiconductor technology provider reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $2.30 per share, beating the consensus estimate of $2.04 by 12.75%. Revenue climbed to $1.078 billion, surpassing the $1.046 billion forecast and representing a 15.2% increase from the same period last year.
