Bonjour Holdings Limited has released its latest sustainability report for the 2024/2025 period, highlighting its emphasis on omnichannel retail innovation, significant emission reductions, and a transition to a new financial year-end.

Key points from the announcement include:

• Financial Year-End Change: The company decided to align its reporting cycle to end on June 30 instead of December 31, creating an 18-month period from January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

• E-Commerce and Diversification: Bonjour continued investing in its global digital platform “HKMALL,” which hosted over 390,000 SKUs as of June 2025—up substantially from 310,000 in 2023. Bonded warehouse expansions in Hainan and Guangzhou strengthened cross-border capabilities.

• Emission Reduction Efforts: Direct emissions (Scope 1) fell to 11 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent during the reporting period from 24 tonnes in 2022. Indirect emissions (Scope 2) declined by 35% compared to 2022, while new policies such as installing energy sensors and maintaining efficient air-conditioning systems contributed to this reduction.

• Resource Efficiency: Water usage totaled 5,858 cubic meters, a 37% drop compared to the prior baseline year. Non-hazardous waste volumes increased slightly as a result of packaging changes at the warehouse level, though efforts such as cardboard reuse and plastic reduction measures were introduced to meet long-term goals.

• Governance and Collaboration: The Board oversees climate-change strategies and risk assessments, while the Group’s management implements and monitors environmental measures. The “Innovation and ESG” committee’s responsibilities include evaluating major progress toward achieving emission and resource-reduction targets.

• Social Responsibility: The report reiterates Bonjour’s commitment to staff training, occupational safety, and community outreach. The company supports school events, volunteer programs, and remained focused on fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace with fair recruitment and clear career paths.

According to the report, Bonjour’s ongoing focus on digital innovation, environmental impact mitigation, and community support is integral to its medium- and long-term sustainability plans, underscoring both operational resilience and stakeholder engagement.
