On August 21, L4-level autonomous driving company White Rhino Zhida (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. announced the completion of its B+ round financing. With this round, White Rhino's total B-round financing has accumulated to nearly 500 million yuan.

In this financing round, existing shareholders Shunfeng and Linear Capital continued their investment, while Yi Jun Capital, 360 Fund, and Huatai Zijin joined as new investors. Notably, this marks Shunfeng's third investment within a year, following its initial investment in August 2024.

White Rhino founder and CEO Zhu Lei explained that the funds from this round will be primarily invested in three key areas: automotive-grade autonomous vehicle product development, continuous iteration of AI technology, and expansion of commercial scenarios, accelerating White Rhino's "large-scale deployment" in the last-mile logistics sector.

According to company information, White Rhino was founded in 2019, with its founding team coming from Baidu's autonomous driving division. The company is expanding from "last-mile express delivery" to broader urban autonomous delivery scenarios. Its campus delivery network in partnership with Ele.me is expected to cover 100 universities by next year. Additionally, the company has achieved deployment in supermarket delivery and industrial logistics scenarios.

According to its established goals, White Rhino's active vehicle fleet will reach 5,000 units by 2026.
