Zhongyu Energy Holdings Limited disclosed that it repurchased 1.00 million ordinary shares on 30 April 2026, paying an aggregate HKD 2.75 million at prices ranging from HKD 2.74 to HKD 2.76 per share. The volume-weighted average purchase price was approximately HKD 2.75.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.04% to 2,731.81 million shares. Treasury shares rose to 16.50 million, leaving total issued shares unchanged at 2,748.31 million.
The repurchase forms part of the mandate granted on 02 June 2025 that authorises Zhongyu Energy to buy back up to 277.18 million shares. Cumulative purchases under this mandate now stand at 16.50 million shares, equivalent to 0.60% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. All repurchased shares to date are being held as treasury stock; none have been cancelled.
Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues, or the sale or transfer of treasury shares, until 29 May 2026.
