CREALIGHTS (01191) defied the broader market weakness today, climbing 6.56% to HK$164 at the time of writing, with trading turnover reaching HK$167 million. The stock has gained more than 50% cumulatively since being added to the Stock Connect program on September 7.
On the news front, on September 4, CREALIGHTS delivered market-exciting guidance during its interim results briefing. Vice General Manager and Board Secretary Hu Yong stated that the high-speed optical module industry faces no shortage of orders, only a shortage of production capacity. The company's order pipeline is already fully booked through the end of 2027. In the second half of this year, 1.6T optical modules will begin shipping to leading overseas AI computing infrastructure customers, while research and development, along with customer validation, for 3.2T and 6.4T NPO/CPO products are progressing.
Notably, starting September 7, CREALIGHTS officially joined the Stock Connect eligible securities list, unlocking the southbound capital channel. On the same day, the company announced a long-term, in-depth strategic partnership with GlobalFoundries, a leading global semiconductor manufacturer, to fully advance the engineering implementation and mass production of 6.4T NPO products, accelerating the industrialization of next-generation AI silicon photonics interconnect technology.
