The Qianwen AI Glasses G1 became available for immediate purchase starting at 10:00 AM on March 8th. After applying national subsidies and other discounts, the final price begins at 1,997 yuan. The product launch covers both online and offline sales channels. Additionally, users can complete a purchase using a simple voice command within the Qianwen app, with the possibility of receiving the product on the same day.
In terms of design, the Qianwen AI Glasses G1 functions more like a portable AI terminal. It is equipped with 64GB of local storage, bone conduction technology for precise audio capture, and Super RAW technology for enhanced low-light imaging. Weighing approximately 41 grams, the device is designed for all-day online scenarios such as using a voice assistant, capturing photos and videos, and retrieving information.
The right temple features an innovative hot-swappable battery design. It also supports magnetic charging via the left temple and comes with a portable MiniBag charging case (700mAh), enabling continuous, uninterrupted battery life that significantly improves the experience for outdoor and extended use.
The standard model comes with Wellington frames and Carl Zeiss blue-light filtering lenses with no prescription. A special "Colorful Edition" has also been launched, featuring seven different colored lenses specifically designed for various outdoor activities including cycling, golf, sailing, and sea fishing.
At the recently concluded MWC 2026, the Qianwen AI Glasses attracted significant attention. Many users who tested the product felt that it offered greater competitiveness compared to Meta's offerings, particularly in areas like battery life and low-light photography. A journalist from the American technology media outlet CNET, after trying the glasses, exclaimed that they were "lightweight, comfortable, and highly functional," adding that "Meta should be wary."
The official listed price for the G1 series is 2,899 yuan. Every day at 10:00 AM, users can claim a limited "Qianwen Surprise Coupon" worth 200 yuan from the official stores on Taobao, Tmall, JD.com, and Douyin. After combining this with national subsidies and other promotions, the comprehensive final price can be as low as 1,997 yuan.
Song Gang, the head of Qianwen's AI hardware division, previously stated, "The year 2026 should be about letting AI define hardware. Qianwen will continue to integrate AI capabilities into devices to create more natural, always-on interactive experiences."
It is also noteworthy that starting from the end of this month, the Qianwen app will be fully integrated with the Qianwen AI Glasses. This integration will gradually enable users to perform tasks like ordering food, booking hotels, and hailing rides directly through the glasses using "AI-assisted actions."
For the initial sales launch, the feature allowing purchase via a simple voice command has been prioritized. Users need only say "I want to buy Qianwen glasses" to the Qianwen app to complete the order and payment process, with the possibility of receiving the product on the same day.
It has been confirmed that the Qianwen AI Glasses will also be launched in international markets within this year.
