Standard Chartered PLC (SEHK: 02888) has announced the appointment of Mr. Tanate Phutrakul, aged 61, as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the company.

His appointment is scheduled to take effect from July 1, 2026.

Concurrently, Mr. Phutrakul will join the Board Audit Committee and the Board Risk Committee on the same date.
