VICOM Ltd announced on Apr, 27 2026 that Professor Ooi Beng Chin, a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director, passed away on Apr, 25 2026. The Board expressed condolences to his family and recognised his contributions to the company.

Following his passing, VICOM Ltd has reconstituted its Board and committee memberships with immediate effect. Dr Tan Kim Siew remains Board Chairman, with Mr Cheng Siak Kian as Deputy Chairman and Mr Sim Wing Yew as Chief Executive Officer. Leadership of the Audit and Risk, Nominating and Remuneration, Sustainability, and Technology committees has been reaffirmed or reassigned among existing directors to ensure continued governance and oversight.
