Ningnan is creating an artificial intelligence (AI) OPC entrepreneurship hub aimed at radiating influence across ASEAN. The initiative leverages the Guangxi ASEAN Cross-border E-commerce Headquarters Base to develop an AI+e-commerce super-individual incubation platform targeting ASEAN markets. Plans for this year include establishing communities in ASEAN countries and domestically, integrating them into a resource network to secure broader market opportunities for OPC (One-Person Company) entrepreneurs, stated Li Ming, co-founder of the Fuyaohui OPC community, on May 15 in Nanning, Guangxi.
The inaugural batch of AI OPC entrepreneurship communities in Nanning officially opened during a ceremony held at the China-ASEAN National Artificial Intelligence Application Cooperation Center. City officials emphasized that Nanning will continue to deepen its efforts in the AI innovation and entrepreneurship sector, continuously upgrade policy frameworks, refine service chains, and aggregate high-quality resources to fully build a leading AI OPC entrepreneurship cluster with ASEAN-wide and national influence.
Since the beginning of this year, Nanning has cultivated and launched a diverse range of distinctive AI OPC entrepreneurship communities. At the municipal level, 3,410 new OPC registrations (including those in the Nanning Area of the Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone) have been added, initially forming a trend of agglomerated development and demonstrative leadership.
Wei Jie, Deputy Director of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Department of Human Resources and Social Security, stated that Guangxi will enhance regional collaboration in AI entrepreneurship, vigorously support OPC enterprises in exploring ASEAN markets, and provide public services such as language data, legal consultation, cross-border payment, and market matching. The region will also host OPC entrepreneurship project roadshows and cross-border demand matching events targeting ASEAN markets to facilitate the efficient implementation of "Nanning Creation, Guangxi Intelligent Manufacturing" application scenarios in ASEAN countries.
As the provincial capital closest to ASEAN in China, Nanning is accelerating the convergence of global AI innovation resources to build an AI industry highland oriented towards ASEAN. The city has taken the lead in Guangxi by introducing specialized measures to support AI OPC entrepreneurship development, speeding up the construction of an AI entrepreneurship matrix.
On the same day, the "AI Entrepreneurship, Optimal Nanning" OPC cloud community platform was officially launched. Based on the principles of "Inviting the Globe, Creating and Sharing in Nanning, Intelligently Connecting ASEAN," the platform offers one-stop, full-chain online entrepreneurship incubation services.
