Sino-Ocean Group Holding Ltd (03377) has issued a profit warning, indicating that it expects to record a net loss attributable to shareholders of approximately RMB 6.0 billion to RMB 8.0 billion for the six months ending June 30, 2026.

This projected loss marks a sharp reversal from the same period in 2025, when the company reported a profit attributable to owners of approximately RMB 10.202 billion, largely driven by a one-off debt restructuring gain.

The company attributed the anticipated loss to the continued downturn in China's overall property market in recent years, which has kept both revenue and gross margins under significant pressure. Additionally, the group has made further provisions for impairment on its property projects during the period.
