NEW HIGHER EDU (02001) fell nearly 10% after releasing its financial results, dropping 9.91% to HKD 1 at the time of writing, with a turnover of HKD 2.67 million.
The company reported its annual results for the period ending August 31, 2025, posting revenue of RMB 2.599 billion, a 7.78% year-on-year increase. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 9.67% to RMB 829 million, with basic earnings per share at RMB 0.49.
However, the board decided against declaring a final dividend for the fiscal year, citing the need to retain funds for high-quality business development and operational requirements.
