On April 30, financial authorities imposed a penalty on Shaanxi Meixian Rural Commercial Bank for violations across multiple regulatory areas. According to an administrative penalty disclosure from the Baoji Branch of the People's Bank of China, the bank was found to have breached regulations concerning financial statistics, payment settlements, financial technology, currency and precious metals, treasury operations, and anti-money laundering controls. As a result, the bank received a formal warning and was fined 447,000 yuan.
