In a recent development, Chery Automobile Chairman Yin Tongyue visited iFlytek and met with its Chairman, Liu Qingfeng, who shared his criteria for selecting a vehicle.

During their conversation, Liu Qingfeng remarked that the Zhijie V9, despite being larger in size than other models, does not compromise on driving experience or maneuverability. Yin Tongyue added, "It's like Yao Ming—possessing Yao Ming's physique and Yao Ming's agility."

It is noteworthy that on May 27, NIO Inc. officially announced basketball star Yao Ming as the Chief Experience Officer for its ES9 model. Yao Ming also appeared at the ES9 launch event to share his personal user experience. This has led some online commentators to suggest that Yin Tongyue's recent marketing comparison linking the Zhijie V9 to Yao Ming may be an attempt to capitalize on the publicity surrounding Yao's role with the NIO ES9.

Information shows that the Zhijie V9 is the first MPV model under the Harmony Intelligent Driving Alliance, jointly developed by the alliance and Chery. It was officially launched in May this year, with a price range of 389,800 to 519,800 yuan.
