SD GOLD (HKG: 01787) has announced the election of Mr. Gao Yongtao as an independent non-executive director on its seventh board of directors, following a resolution passed at an extraordinary general meeting.

This appointment comes in the wake of a prior announcement dated December 29, 2025, regarding the resignation of Mr. Zhan Kai. The board confirmed that Mr. Zhan's resignation, which encompassed his roles as independent non-executive director, member of the strategic committee, member of the sustainable development committee, member of the audit committee, chairman of the nomination committee, and member of the remuneration and appraisal committee, took effect on the same day as Mr. Gao's election.

Following this resignation, Mr. Zhan no longer holds any position within the company.
