Keppel Ltd. (BN4) announced on Aug, 21 2026 that it has been provisionally awarded 50 MW of new data-centre capacity under Singapore’s second Data Centre – Call for Application (DC-CFA2), jointly run by the Singapore Economic Development Board and the Infocomm Media Development Authority.
The allocation will support the construction of Keppel Data Centre Singapore 11, an AI-ready facility on Jurong Island requiring an investment of more than 1 billion Singapore dollars. The project will be developed by Keppel and financed by Keppel Data Centre Fund III and its co-investors.
Keppel targets a power usage effectiveness of below 1.2 for the new site, with over 50 % of its electricity needs to be met through green energy sources, and plans a water usage effectiveness of about 1.6. The company will draw on its existing 1,900 MW of power‐generation capacity on Jurong Island, alongside cooling, connectivity and low-carbon energy solutions.
Keppel said the award is not expected to have any material impact on its net tangible asset per share or earnings per share for the current financial year.
