According to a September 27 announcement by "Zhejiang Release," the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Marine Economic Development recently issued the "Guidelines for the Development of Zhejiang Province's Marine Clean Energy Industry" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guidelines").

The Guidelines focus on four major industries: offshore wind power, offshore photovoltaics, marine energy, and coastal nuclear power, aiming to accelerate the cultivation of new quality productive forces in the marine sector and build a full-chain marine clean energy industry cluster.

The Guidelines propose that by 2030, the province's marine clean energy and its equipment industry scale will exceed 300 billion yuan, with offshore wind power installed capacity surpassing 10 million kilowatts. A ten-million-kilowatt-level offshore wind power base will be completed, landmark projects such as wind power mother ports will be put into operation, tidal current energy will achieve hundred-megawatt-level commercial application, offshore photovoltaics will realize contiguous development through "wind-solar co-location," and the green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol industry will begin to take shape.

More than 50 leading enterprises and specialized and sophisticated enterprises in the marine clean energy field will be cultivated, basically establishing Zhejiang as a national innovation highland, industrial cultivation and cluster hub, and integrated development pioneer zone for marine clean energy.
