Tian An Medicare released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing progress across emissions reduction, resource efficiency, workforce development and community engagement for the year ended 31 December 2025.

Key environmental indicators show notable improvement. Direct (Scope 1) greenhouse-gas emissions fell 69.00 % to 71 tCO₂e, mainly after the Shenzhen office closure and a smaller vehicle fleet. Indirect (Scope 2) emissions were broadly stable at 12,024 tCO₂e. Electricity use dropped to 19.71 million kWh, or 12.59 kWh per patient, while water consumption fell 10.90 % to 0.29 million m³, equivalent to 0.08 m³ per patient. Medical and hazardous waste totalled 91,952 tonnes after a methodology change that now includes medical wastewater; general waste paper reached 28.94 tonnes following the addition of thermal-paper receipts.

The group advanced waste-water management at its hospitals in Nanjing, Kunming and Shanghai, integrating real-time monitoring and third-party testing to ensure compliance with GB18466–2005 and related standards. Solar-powered lighting, LED upgrades and smart HVAC systems supported energy-saving initiatives, with a stated 10 % reduction in electricity use for certain facilities.

On the social front, total headcount rose to 2,623 employees, of which 72 % are female and 98 % full-time. Overall staff turnover was 9 % for males and 8 % for females; the 51-plus age bracket recorded the highest churn at 23 %. Training intensity increased, averaging 106 hours for male staff and 118 hours for female staff, with 904 training hours dedicated to anti-corruption.

Occupational safety remained a priority. Thirteen work-related injuries led to 413 lost days, with no fatalities reported. Radiation-exposure personnel undergo quarterly dose monitoring and biennial health checks, and immediate protocols cover Occupational Blood Exposure incidents.

Supplier oversight expanded to 646 domestic vendors. Pre-qualification and annual performance reviews address licence validity, GMP/GSP certification, pricing, delivery and environmental performance. The Kunming unit’s Supply Process and Distribution project and Shanghai’s “Sunshine Platform” further tightened traceability for pharmaceuticals and consumables.

Service quality metrics registered 194 customer complaints—down 18.50 % year on year—and no product recalls for safety or health reasons. Nanjing Tongren Hospital carried out 115 “Internet + Nursing Services” home visits, while Kunming Tongren Hospital delivered 473 community medical outreach sessions and donated RMB 60,000 to local health initiatives.

Community investment continued through congenital-heart-disease surgeries, pneumoconiosis and spinal-deformity assistance. Since inception, the congenital-heart programme has facilitated surgery for 833 patients with cumulative aid of RMB 4.37 million.

The board reiterated its 2030 target to keep the intensity of sewage, waste, greenhouse-gas emissions, energy and water use within ±10 % of 2022 levels, underscoring Tian An Medicare’s commitment to balanced growth and sustainable healthcare delivery.
