Tesla announced on Saturday that the electric vehicle manufacturer is launching its robotaxi service in Dallas and Houston, marking a further expansion of the emerging service in the United States since its initial rollout in Austin, Texas last year.

The official Tesla robotaxi account on X announced the service launch and shared two videos showing its best-selling Model Y SUVs operating in both cities without a human driver or supervisor in the front seats. The company also posted two maps outlining the service areas but did not disclose additional details such as fleet size or pricing.

"Try Tesla Robotaxi in Dallas and Houston!" Tesla CEO Elon Musk said while reposting the X announcement.
