According to the "Beijing Haidian" WeChat official account, the Sujiatuo Branch of Aerospace Central Hospital will officially begin operations in late September. From September 16 to 19, the Sujiatuo Branch of Aerospace Central Hospital conducted four consecutive days of large-scale free clinic activities, allowing residents in northern Haidian to experience quality medical resources in advance.

During the free clinic, experts from numerous departments of Aerospace Central Hospital gathered, including internal medicine, surgery, otolaryngology, dermatology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, traditional Chinese medicine, hematology, and oncology center, providing professional diagnostic and treatment guidance to residents.

"The main purpose of the free clinic activities is to establish initial contact with residents in the Sujiatuo area. Through on-site expert consultations, introduction of professional technical features, and overall hospital campus displays, we help local residents better understand the hospital, expert teams, and technical advantages of various departments," said Wang Zhizhong, Director of the Outpatient Department at Aerospace Central Hospital.

On September 19, the Sujiatuo Branch of Aerospace Central Hospital passed the practice inspection by the Beijing Municipal Health Commission and officially obtained medical qualifications. The hospital campus has a total construction area of nearly 63,000 square meters and provides 300 beds. Currently, the overall construction of the campus has been basically completed, with medical equipment installation and debugging, information system construction, and staff training all finished. The campus has also simultaneously advanced disciplinary layout and talent recruitment to ensure rapid entry into high-level operations after official launch.

In the future, relying on the "one hospital, two campuses, integrated operation" model, the Sujiatuo Branch of Aerospace Central Hospital will focus on treating tumors and other difficult diseases based on common and frequent disease diagnosis and treatment. It will also emphasize health management for elderly and pediatric populations, fully leveraging the advantages of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment. Multi-disciplinary experts including cardiology, neurology, geriatrics, orthopedics, general surgery, traditional Chinese medicine, pediatrics, and oncology center will provide outpatient services.

"To meet patients' diversified medical needs, we will establish 38 specialized disease clinics and 28 characteristic treatment clinics at the Sujiatuo campus," said Zhao Xiaomu, Vice President of Aerospace Central Hospital. In addition to bringing the five major disciplinary advantages of interventional therapy, minimally invasive surgery, regenerative medicine, health management, and critical care from the Yuquanlu campus to the Sujiatuo campus, they have also focused on building an emergency and critical care platform centered on emergency medicine and intensive care, and a comprehensive tumor treatment platform centered on the oncology center and hematology department at the Sujiatuo campus.

Notably, the Sujiatuo Branch of Aerospace Central Hospital will also implement a multidisciplinary treatment model (MDT), creating 40 multidisciplinary joint clinics (MDT). By integrating Beijing's top expert resources for joint treatment, they will develop precise and personalized treatment plans for patients with difficult and rare diseases, providing "one-stop" solutions to patients' health challenges.
