At a regular press briefing on August 27, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian responded to a reporter's question regarding U.S. law enforcement hyping up allegations of Chinese hacker cyberattacks.

Lin Jian stated that China has taken note of the relevant reports. The Chinese side firmly opposes and legally cracks down on hacking activities, while also resolutely opposing the spread of disinformation for political purposes. The so-called "statement" from the U.S. side lacks factual evidence and confuses right and wrong.

China expresses strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to the erroneous practice of the U.S. once again slinging mud at China over cybersecurity issues.
