On January 29, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) signed a strategic cooperation memorandum in Beijing, marking a significant step to further deepen their comprehensive strategic partnership and jointly elevate Sino-British financial innovation and collaboration to new heights.

As leading financial institutions in China and the UK, ICBC and LSEG have long maintained close cooperation across multiple domains, achieving substantial and practical results. Seizing the opportunity presented by this memorandum, both parties will continue to leverage their respective strengths to deepen dialogue and collaboration in areas such as data analytics, post-trade clearing, debt capital markets, cross-border renminbi services, international financial governance, and the application of artificial intelligence.
