The Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province achieved a regional Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 315.45 billion yuan in 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 5.5%, with a growth rate that surpassed both the national and provincial averages.

A breakdown by industry reveals that the prefecture's primary industry added value of 40.93 billion yuan, growing by 2.7%, while the secondary industry reached 110.47 billion yuan, increasing by 4.7%, and the tertiary industry contributed 164.05 billion yuan, advancing by 6.8%.

Industrialization in Honghe accelerated last year, with value-added output from major industrial enterprises rising by 7%.

Investment operations remained stable and showed progressive improvement, as sectors including energy industry, transportation, and ecological and environmental protection sustained rapid growth momentum, driving a 6.6% increase in fixed-asset investment.
