At the 2026 Chongqing International Auto Show, Li Auto held a new product launch event.

The all-new Ideal L8 made its official debut. With this model update, the company has redefined the positioning of its L-series SUVs. The current Ideal L8 is a six-seat luxury SUV, but the new generation transforms it into the brand's flagship five-seat SUV.

It is reported that the new Ideal L8 will be available in two configurations: Ultra and Livis. Display models will be available in nationwide showrooms starting June 13th, with the official market launch scheduled for June 23rd.

During the presentation, a Li Auto executive highlighted that the new L8 offers two primary spatial modes: a Dual-Person Spa and a Four-Person Theater mode. The executive specifically emphasized that the Dual-Person Spa is a key selling point for the new model, claiming the experience in this mode is more comfortable than lying on a massage chair at home.
