Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) has announced its second-quarter revenue reached $3.006 billion, compared to $2.209 billion in the same period last year.

The company has provided guidance for the third quarter, forecasting a sequential revenue increase of between 2% and 4%, with gross margins expected to range from 26% to 28%.
