Techtronic Industries trims share count by 0.02%, discloses fresh HK$2.61 million buyback

Techtronic Industries Company Limited (Techtronic Industries) has cancelled 297,000 previously repurchased ordinary shares on 22 July 2026, reducing its outstanding share capital to 1.83 billion shares from 1.83 billion. The cancellation represents approximately 0.016 % of the company’s issued share base as at 21 July 2026.

The cancelled shares had been bought back on-market between 30 June and 13 July 2026 at volume-weighted average prices ranging from HK$123.57 to HK$130.82 per share. Based on the stated averages, the total consideration for these cancelled shares amounts to roughly HK$37.78 million.

A further 264,000 shares (0.014 % of current issued shares) repurchased between 14 and 22 July 2026 remain outstanding pending cancellation. Purchase prices for these shares averaged between HK$123.71 and HK$130.48.

Separately, on 22 July 2026 the company acquired an additional 20,000 shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HK$128.30 and HK$132.30, for an aggregate HK$2.61 million. These shares are also designated for cancellation.

Since shareholders approved the current buyback mandate on 8 May 2026, Techtronic Industries has repurchased 2.49 million shares, equivalent to 0.14 % of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. The board remains authorised to repurchase up to 182.98 million shares under this mandate. In accordance with HKEX rules, the company is restricted from issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 21 August 2026 following the latest buyback activity.
