Prudential plc announced that it bought back 277,659 ordinary shares on Apr, 22 2026 through the London Stock Exchange.

The shares were repurchased at prices ranging from about 11.235 to 11.305 pounds sterling each, for a total consideration of roughly 5.3 million Singapore dollars. All the repurchased shares are intended for cancellation.

Following cancellations completed on Apr, 22 2026, Prudential plc’s issued share capital stands at 2,523,288,513 ordinary shares. An additional 560,517 shares bought back on Apr, 21–22 2026 remain to be cancelled.

The purchases were made under the authority granted by shareholders on May, 14 2025, which permits the company to repurchase up to 262,668,701 shares. To date, 83,717,775 shares have been repurchased under that mandate, representing about 3.21% of the company’s issued share capital at the time the authority was granted.

The company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until May, 22 2026, in line with regulatory requirements following the share buy-back.
