IFBH shares surge over 40% intraday but market cap remains nearly 90% below listing peak

IFBH (06603) saw its share price spike more than 40% during the afternoon trading session on Thursday, though gains have since narrowed considerably. Notably, the stock touched an all-time low of HK$4.995 earlier this morning, and its current total market capitalization remains nearly 90% below the peak recorded shortly after its initial listing.

As of the time of writing, IFBH shares were up 17.08% at HK$5.97, with trading turnover reaching HK$96.49 million.

On the news front, IFBH is scheduled to release its interim results for fiscal 2026 on August 28. The company has previously guided that its net profit for the first half of the year is expected to plunge by 65% to 75% year-on-year, while revenue is projected to decline by 40% to 50%. Management attributed the sharp downturn primarily to escalating geopolitical tensions and weakening consumer sentiment across the entire product category.

In addition, Hang Seng Indexes Company will announce the official results of the quarterly index review after the market close on Friday, August 21. According to estimates from China International Capital Corporation (CICC), IFBH may be removed from the Stock Connect list of eligible stocks for southbound trading.
