China Reinsurance (Group) Corporation (1508) announced that one of its company secretaries, Ms. Ng Sau Mei, will cease to serve in this role effective 28 February 2026. According to the announcement, Ms. Ng confirmed no disagreement with the board of directors and no matter needs to be brought to the attention of shareholders.

The company further announced the appointment of two joint company secretaries: Mr. Cao Shunming and Ms. Chung Man Nar Mona. Mr. Cao’s appointment is subject to a waiver application under the relevant Hong Kong listing rules, and will take effect upon the waiver’s approval. Ms. Chung’s appointment took effect on 28 February 2026. Ms. Chung has over 25 years of experience in company secretarial and compliance services and holds professional qualifications from The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute.

In addition, Ms. Ng will no longer serve as an authorized representative of China Re, while Ms. Chung has been appointed to assume the role, effective 28 February 2026. The company will make a further announcement on the progress of the waiver for Mr. Cao’s appointment as necessary.
