Motorola Edge 70 Pro Launches with 144Hz OLED Screen and Triple Camera System

Lenovo's Motorola brand has officially unveiled the Edge 70 Pro smartphone in international markets. The launch is part of an effort to broaden the company's premium mid-range portfolio with enhancements in performance, display quality, and battery life. The Edge 70 Pro features a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak brightness of up to 5200 nits. The screen supports HDR10+, 10-bit color depth, and has received Pantone validation for color accuracy. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage, running on the Android 16 operating system. It houses a 6500mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. For photography, the phone is equipped with a triple-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with macro functionality. The front-facing camera is also 50 megapixels and supports 4K video recording. The device incorporates various AI-based imaging tools and editing features. Additionally, the Edge 70 Pro comes with Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers and boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with military-grade durability. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. The phone will be available in several Pantone-inspired color options, including Lily White, Tea, and Titanium.
