S&P Dow Jones Indices made no changes to the S&P 500 index on Friday, snubbing Robinhood and AppLovin Corporation.

The company made no announcement but confirmed to multiple publications that there were no additions or deletions to the benchmark index. It's the first quarterly rebalance without an S&P 500 stock change since March 2022.

Analysts had pegged Robinhood stock and AppLovin as among the most likely additions. Carvana (CVNA), Interactive Brokers (IBKR) and Vertiv (VRT) also were cited as possible entrants.

Robinhood stock fell 6.25% in late trading after the S&P Dow Jones Indices' decision. HOOD stock had surged 13.2% during the week to 74.88, setting a record high ahead of the quarterly rebalance.

AppLovin stock gave up 5.6% after hours. APP stock had rallied 6.3% during the week to 417.89, decisively clearing an aggressive entry.

Carvana stock lost 1.3%. CVNA stock had climbed 4.4% to 341.46 during the week, marking a new high.

Interactive Brokers stock sank 1.3% late. Shares rose 1% to 211.83 for the week, just clearing a 210.46 cup-with-handle buy point.

Vertiv stock edged lower Friday night. Shares jumped 6.9% to 115.36 in the week, clearing an aggressive entry above the 200-day line.
