BOSIDENG’s FY2025/26 ESG Report: Secures MSCI “AAA”, Plots Net-Zero Operations by 2038

Bulletin Express
07/28

BOSIDENG International Holdings (03998) published its 10th Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, covering the year from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, with disclosure aligned to HKEX’s ESG Code, the GRI Standards and TCFD guidelines. The review focuses on the branded down-apparel business, which generated 86.2 % of group revenue.

\n\nGovernance structures were reinforced: the Board’s Sustainability Steering Group, chaired by founder and chairman Gao Dekang, oversees all ESG issues, and 5 % of the chairman/CEO’s remuneration is now tied to climate-action KPIs. The group launched an end-to-end ESG digital platform and was named to the UN Global Compact’s inaugural “25 Sustainable Supply Chain Leaders’ Alliance”.

\n\nHeadline achievements include an upgrade to the highest “AAA” rating from MSCI—making BOSIDENG the only Asian textile & apparel company with that score—and new entries into the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026 and Dow Jones Best-in-Class Index. The company retained a “B” score from CDP for climate change management.

\n\nClimate targets were sharpened: BOSIDENG reiterated its goal of reaching net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions across operations by 2038. In FY 2025/26 the group produced 63,828.5 tCO₂e of Scope 1 and 2 emissions (3.10 tCO₂e per RMB 1 million revenue) and generated 953.0 MWh of onsite solar power while purchasing 3,018 MWh of green electricity. Key suppliers used 5,455 MWh of clean energy. More than 1,000 self-operated stores completed energy-saving retrofits, and the Beijing Sanlitun Summit Concept Store helped draft China’s first “Carbon Neutral Store” standard.

\n\nResource stewardship progressed: 100 % of logistics cartons and offline store paper bags now carry FSC or FSC Mix certification; all down is RDS-certified, 92 % of down meets OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and 53 % is bluesign® certified. Waste-to-landfill was cut to zero, earning China Quality Certification Centre’s highest diamond-grade “Zero Waste to Landfill” recognition. Water use totalled 374,000 m³; non-hazardous waste reached 8,622.9 t with a 100 % recycling rate.

\n\nProduct innovation remained central: the Circular 3.0 jacket secured TESTEX “CIRCULARITY” certification and the ISPO Gold Award, while the group’s patent portfolio rose to 1,812 granted patents. Customer satisfaction stood at 96 %; new members on Tmall and JD.com rose by 2.10 million, lifting the member base to 23.10 million.

\n\nPeople metrics improved: women held 52.5 % of management roles; 285 core employees benefited from equity incentives; 100 % of staff received training, totalling 185,885 hours. No work-related fatalities occurred, and work-injury rate stayed at 0.02 %. Cumulative charitable donations from the BOSIDENG Charity Foundation exceeded RMB 1.55 billion, assisting 1.923 million beneficiaries to date.

\n\nLooking forward, BOSIDENG will maintain its “1 + 3 + X” ESG roadmap, elevate low-carbon innovation across the value chain and keep integrating sustainability targets—anchored by the 2038 operational net-zero goal—into product development, supply-chain practices and community initiatives.
