Robot Startup in Funding Talks Targeting $3 Billion Valuation

A Chinese robotics startup is reportedly seeking a valuation of around 20 billion yuan (approximately $3 billion) in its latest funding round, highlighting growing investor enthusiasm for domestic companies advancing breakthroughs in physical AI.

According to reports, Tang Wenbin, founder of 原力灵机 (Dexmal), revealed during the World Robot Conference in Beijing that negotiations for the current funding round are still in progress. The company completed its previous financing round in June, with major investors including 智谱, 阶跃星辰, 商汤科技, and 阿里巴巴.

Public records show that 原力灵机 (Dexmal) is a technology company focused on general-purpose embodied intelligence, dedicated to building intelligent, practical, and trustworthy robots. Founded in March 2025 by Tang Wenbin, co-founder and former CTO of 旷视科技, the company's core founding team consists of former 旷视科技 members. Its subsidiary Atomix stands as a leading domestic provider of AI-native flexible warehousing solutions, having delivered more than 500 projects with services spanning over 20 countries and regions worldwide.
