Unitree Robotics has announced its participation in the second World Humanoid Robot Games, which officially kicks off today in Beijing. The company issued a statement wishing the event complete success, confirming that multiple humanoid robot models will take to the competition floor.

According to the announcement, some of the competing robots will be fielded by Unitree's own team, while the rest will be entered by customers or partners who have developed their own applications based on Unitree's robotic platforms. This collaborative approach highlights the company's role as a foundational technology provider within the broader robotics ecosystem.

In a notable piece of transparency, Unitree revealed that it has already reduced its involvement in several events for which it had previously registered. The company attributed this decision to constraints on time and energy, as well as limitations related to the number and testing of its newer robot models.

Unitree candidly acknowledged that its primary focus has historically been on mass production of its existing product lines. "We are sorry that we could not fully prepare for all the competitions," the company stated, balancing its commitment to the event with the practical realities of a fast-scaling manufacturing business.
