Russia's November Crude Output Falls Far Below OPEC+ Quota

Deep News
2025/12/09

Russia's crude oil production in November significantly undershot its OPEC+ quota, hampered by sanctions limiting buyers for its oil and Ukrainian drone attacks disrupting refineries.

According to sources familiar with the data who requested anonymity due to discussing confidential information, Russia's average daily crude output last month stood at 9.43 million barrels.

Calculations reveal that while this figure was 19,000 barrels per day higher than October's output, it remained over 100,000 barrels per day below the country's November production target.

This marks the widest gap in over two years between Russia's actual reported production (including compensatory cuts) and its monthly OPEC+ quota.
