The legal team led by attorney Liu Peng from Shanghai Huzi Law Firm has recently submitted filing applications with the court for a group of 14 investors seeking compensation. Although the company has been delisted, the principle that "delisting does not exempt liability" ensures that the civil compensation channel for affected investors remains open. KOP, formerly known as Gaohong Shares, was terminated from listing and formally delisted from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on November 11, 2025, following a nine-year period of financial fraud from 2015 to 2023 and a fraudulent issuance in 2020.

Investors who purchased the stock between March 22, 2016, and April 29, 2024, and either sold after April 30, 2024, or continued to hold and incurred losses are eligible to register for the claim. According to the China Securities Regulatory Commission's investigation, KOP inflated its revenue and profits by participating in and organizing fictitious trade operations, resulting in false statements in its annual reports from 2015 through 2023. Over this nine-year period, the cumulative inflated operating revenue reached approximately 19.8 billion yuan, with inflated total profits exceeding 76.2 million yuan.

Additionally, the company's private placement of shares in 2020 raised 1.25 billion yuan, and the related documents incorporated false financial data, constituting fraudulent issuance. Based on these violations, the CSRC imposed a total fine of 135 million yuan on KOP, with individual fines ranging from 750,000 yuan to 7 million yuan imposed on relevant responsible persons. Some individuals were also subjected to market prohibition measures. On November 11, 2025, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange decided to terminate KOP's listing, and the company's shares were formally delisted and transferred to the National Equities Exchange and Quotations system.

Under the Securities Law and relevant judicial interpretations, investors who suffered losses due to a listed company's misrepresentation have the legal right to file civil compensation lawsuits. Eligible affected investors should closely monitor the statute of limitations and promptly pursue legal action to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.
