On the evening of September 17, Buick's premium new energy sub-brand "Zhijing" unveiled its flagship sedan, the Zhijing L7, for the first time. The Zhijing L7 integrates Buick's century-long heritage with billions in resource investment, built on Buick's new "Xiaoyao" super-fusion vehicle architecture. The Zhijing L7 has now arrived at Buick dealership showrooms nationwide and launched an early bird program: orders placed before September 28 can enjoy lifetime free maintenance.
The Zhijing L7 debuts with the "True Dragon" range extension system, featuring a 252kW single electric drive unit. It achieves 0-100km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds when fully charged, and 80-120km/h overtaking acceleration in 3.8 seconds, with less than 0.1-second difference in depleted battery conditions. The comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 0.5L per 100km, with engine intervention noise less than 0.5dB. It delivers 302km pure electric range and 1420km comprehensive range. The "True Dragon" range extension system supports 130kW fast charging, enabling 30%-80% energy replenishment in 18 minutes.
For driver assistance, the Zhijing L7 pioneers Buick's "Xiaoyao Zhixing" driver assistance system, featuring the debut of Momenta R6 Flywheel large model based on end-to-end "reinforcement learning." It provides comprehensive scenario driver assistance functions including "seamless" urban NOA and industry-first "one-touch parking without stopping." For intelligent cabin features, it debuts with Qualcomm's latest SA8775P chip, delivering 72 TOPS computing power. It's equipped with a 50-inch panoramic AR-HUD display system and a 15.6-inch intelligent central control screen supporting split-screen display. It features low-power sentinel mode, smartphone-style vehicle preparation function, and an AI intelligent voice assistant based on end-cloud large model architecture.
The Zhijing L7 measures 5032mm×1952mm×1500mm with a 3000mm wheelbase, featuring a starry sky spread-wing exterior and coupe-back styling. It includes ultra-quiet NVH frameless doors throughout the vehicle, hidden door handles, and 20-inch starlight turbofan wheels. Galaxy starry sky spread-wing headlights and stellar track floating light spread-wing taillights complement the roof-mounted lidar and the signature "Xiaoyao Zhixing" blue indicator light. The Zhijing L7 cabin adopts a new pure floating island design aesthetic, with interiors providing 270° leather surround coverage. Four-seat full-function floating layer seats use unmodified full-grain Nappa premium leather covering. The passenger seat features dual 120° zero-gravity seats with extendable 103mm four-way electric leg rest and one-touch nap mode. It debuts with a 27-speaker Buick Sound theater-grade luxury audio system and full four-seat multi-mode headrest audio.
For the chassis, the Zhijing L7 integrates Pan Asia's 28 years of R&D experience and chassis domain technology under the new "Xiaoyao" architecture, adopting front double wishbone and rear five-link suspension structure with a six-ball joint design for the rear suspension. The RTD continuously variable damping suspension provides millisecond-level damping adjustment, actively controlling vehicle posture to enhance ride comfort, smoothness, and handling stability.
