According to reports, the Longgang District in Shenzhen has officially established the Semiconductor and Integrated Circuit Ecosystem Promotion Center. This specialized institution will focus on the development of two key areas: semiconductors and integrated circuits, as well as operating systems. It will be responsible for the ecological construction and industrial development in these fields, providing support for the Shenzhen Luoshan Science and Technology Park and the "Harmony Zone" initiative. Longgang is recognized as the administrative district with the most robust semiconductor and integrated circuit industry foundation and the most complete industrial chain in Shenzhen. In 2024, the production value is expected to reach 113.1 billion yuan, accounting for approximately 40% of the city’s total, and the district is home to leading enterprises such as New Kailai, Founder Microelectronics, Wanliyan, Pengjin High-tech, and Qiyunfang.
