Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. is scheduled to commence a global strategy meeting this Tuesday, according to industry sources, to deliberate on pivotal business strategies for the latter half of the year.

The company holds these global strategy conferences biannually, in June and December, bringing together senior executives from its various business divisions and heads of its overseas subsidiaries.

This meeting occurs as the South Korean technology behemoth aims to bolster internal support for its artificial intelligence-driven transformation initiative. The company has previously outlined intentions to fundamentally overhaul its workflows and corporate culture by fully integrating AI across its operations.

Sources indicate that the three-day meetings will kick off with the mobile business division on Tuesday. Discussions are anticipated to cover the state of supply chains following recent Middle East conflicts and the outlook for global demand, as the company navigates concerns over potentially weaker earnings performance in the coming months.

The ongoing AI transformation plan is also expected to be a central topic. The company seeks not only to foster consensus among its domestic workforce but also to advance this agenda across its international subsidiaries.

On Thursday, a high-profile meeting for the chip division will be chaired by Samsung Electronics Device Solutions head, Jun Young-hyun. This session is likely to review supply conditions for high-performance memory products, including high-bandwidth memory chips slated for delivery to key clients in the second half of the year.
