CITIC (00267) has unveiled the interim results for its subsidiary, Citic Press Corporation (300788.SZ), covering the first half of 2026. The company recorded operating revenue of approximately RMB 791 million, a year-on-year decrease of 3.87%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company stood at roughly RMB 77.06 million, down 36.42% from the same period last year. Basic earnings per share reached RMB 0.41, with a cash dividend of RMB 1.02 (pre-tax) declared for every 10 shares held.

The announcement attributes the profit downturn to an exceptionally high comparison base set in the prior-year period, driven by the blockbuster series Nezha: Tales of the Three Realms. Revenue from the book publishing and distribution segment fell by 13.64% during the reporting period. In response, Citic Press Corporation has elevated its IP operation business to a fourth major segment, standing alongside book publishing and distribution, digital intelligence services, and urban cultural space operations. Revenue from digital intelligence services and urban cultural space operations grew by 8.32% and 13.47%, respectively, while the IP operation segment surged 174.46%, achieving rapid expansion.
