Eric Trump stated that the Trump family "loves" and "trusts" the Bitcoin community, which provided support before his father Donald Trump's second election as U.S. President.

Speaking at the Bitcoin Asia conference held in Hong Kong, Trump said he believes Bitcoin's valuation will break through $1 million.

"The level of support the Bitcoin community gave my father is something I've never seen before," Eric Trump said.

"I hope that support will be richly rewarded, because we love this community and we trust this community."

Bitcoin prices have risen 18% this year and reached a historic high of $124,480.82 in mid-August. This surge has been driven by more friendly regulatory policies from the Trump administration and continued demand from institutional investors. Currently, the world's most famous cryptocurrency has pulled back from its historic high: the latest price on Friday was $110,554.05, down more than 1% for the day.

"There's no question about it. Bitcoin can definitely rise to $1 million," Eric Trump said.
