Techtronic Industries cancels 221,500 repurchased shares, cutting outstanding stock to 1.83 billion

Hong Kong-listed Techtronic Industries Company Limited disclosed that 221,500 previously repurchased ordinary shares were cancelled on 30 June 2026. The cancellations reduce the company’s issued share capital by 0.012% to 1.83 billion shares (1,828.47 million).

The cancelled shares originated from buybacks executed on 15, 16, 18 and 22 June 2026 at volume-weighted average prices ranging from HKD 121.70 to HKD 123.28 per share.

Additional buybacks amounting to 196,000 shares—acquired between 23 and 30 June 2026 at prices between HKD 119.87 and HKD 128.35—remain outstanding and are yet to be cancelled.

On 30 June 2026 the company repurchased a further 32,000 shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 125.80 and HKD 129.70, spending HKD 4.11 million. All of these shares are earmarked for cancellation.

Since the current repurchase mandate was approved on 8 May 2026, Techtronic Industries has bought back 1.99 million shares, equivalent to 0.11% of the share base at the mandate date. The mandate permits repurchases of up to 182.98 million shares. Under Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues until 30 July 2026 following the latest buyback activity.
