Dajin Heavy Industry (01081) surged over 8% in morning trading, with shares climbing 8.23% to HK$35.50 as of press time, on a trading volume of HK$52.4826 million.

According to Dajin Heavy Industry, the company's independently developed and constructed KING Series second vessel, the KING TWO, has been officially named and delivered. This milestone follows the commercial operation of the first vessel, KING ONE, and signifies that the KING Series has fully entered standardized and batch production. Notably, a subsidiary of Dajin Heavy Industry recently signed a contract for the construction of 3+1 bulk carriers with a Greek shipowner, with a total contract value equivalent to approximately RMB 2.1 billion. This collaboration marks international recognition of the company's shipbuilding capabilities by a leading global owner and is expected to positively impact future operating performance. Since the beginning of 2026, the total value of shipbuilding contracts announced by Dajin Heavy Industry has surpassed RMB 10.3 billion.
