Shares of ZJ INNOLIGHT (03308) surged 5.30% in early trading, extending its recent rebound amid heavy buying from Wall Street giants and easing regulatory concerns.

According to Hong Kong Exchange disclosures, Goldman Sachs increased its long position in ZJ INNOLIGHT H-shares from 11.65% to 12.19% on August 3, following a significant increase from 5.95% to 11.90% on July 30. JPMorgan Chase also boosted its long position from 5.6% to 13.72% on July 31. The aggressive accumulation by major institutions has fueled investor confidence in the optical module maker.

Additionally, earlier concerns over a potential U.S. FCC draft ban on Chinese optical module imports have subsided. The company confirmed that the FCC has not issued any such restrictive document, and industry analysts noted the ban faces significant implementation challenges. The positive sentiment was also supported by reports that NVIDIA is urgently seeking Chinese AI base station suppliers, including ZJ INNOLIGHT, to develop 6G AI-RAN base stations.
