361 DEGREES (ASX: 01361) has announced the appointment of Chen Yifang as an independent non-executive director.

The company's board of directors had invited independent non-executive director Ms. Ferheen Mahomed, who possesses a strong legal background, to join the audit committee as part of an effort to enhance the qualifications and structural composition of its members. However, Ms. Mahomed indicated that she could not take on additional responsibilities due to time constraints and a lack of capacity.

Consequently, Ms. Ferheen Mahomed has tendered her resignation as an independent non-executive director and will also step down from her role on the company's nomination committee, with both changes effective from July 8, 2026.

Following her departure, the board has appointed Ms. Chen Yifang as an independent non-executive director and a member of the audit committee, effective from the same date, July 8, 2026. Ms. Chen brings a solid legal background and extensive experience in corporate and financial affairs.

She has also been appointed as a member of the company's nomination committee and remuneration committee, effective immediately from that date.

The board of directors is confident that Ms. Chen Yifang's appointment will contribute to the diversity of the board and provide complementary expertise and experience to the aforementioned committees.
