Keytop Parking's stock soared 190.77% during the intraday session on Friday, following its highly anticipated debut on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The smart parking space operator's initial public offering was met with overwhelming investor demand. The Hong Kong public offering portion was oversubscribed by approximately 2,115 times, with the international offering oversubscribed 5.56 times. The company raised net proceeds of HK$340 million from the IPO, pricing its shares at HK$39.55 each.
The massive oversubscription, indicating exceptionally strong retail and institutional interest, led to the stock opening at a significant premium to its offer price for its first day of trading, driving the sharp price appreciation.
