Technology fuels dreams and sparks creativity for the future. Recently, the Sanjiaozui Home Community in Huangqiao Street, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou, teamed up with its Community Youth League Branch to host a creative 3D printing pen class titled "The Future Community in My Heart." This event introduced children to 3D printing technology and guided them in drawing three-dimensional models of future communities using the innovative pens.

During the session, Party member volunteers and youth league members explained the working principles, usage methods, and safety precautions of 3D printing pens to the children. They described how these "magic pens" can transform flat lines into three-dimensional shapes. The instructors then encouraged the kids to first observe and brainstorm. Their imaginative ideas reflected observations and hopes for daily community life.

In the creation phase, children held the 3D printing pens and carefully sketched according to their ideas. Some drew small houses with photovoltaic roofs, others made three-dimensional slides, some printed colorful flowers and trees, and a few created smart streetlights and fitness equipment for the community. Colored filaments flowed slowly from the pen tips, gradually turning into various small three-dimensional parts in the children's hands. They helped each other, displayed their works, and raised hands to ask teachers when encountering issues like pen jams or unstable shapes. The classroom was filled with a focused creative atmosphere.

Before long, imaginative "future community" models came to life. The children held up their creations and introduced the functions of their designed future communities one by one, their eyes brimming with pride and joy.

This special 3D printing pen class combined scientific innovation experiences with community education. It not only allowed children to get up close with 3D printing technology, improving their hands-on skills and spatial imagination, but also deepened their understanding of the community and strengthened their sense of belonging to their home. Moving forward, the Sanjiaozui Home Community plans to launch more creative and heartwarming summer care courses, integrating technology, aesthetic education, and moral development into daily activities. This approach enables children to learn through play and gain insights through creation, ensuring a colorful and rewarding summer vacation.
