National People's Congress deputy Zhao Zhenxiang has been actively sharing the inspiring messages from the recent Two Sessions with local communities. In her presentations, Zhao emphasized that the Government Work Report consistently prioritizes people's livelihoods, treating issues closely related to daily life—such as elderly care, child care, and property management—as major priorities for planning and advancement.
As a national legislator representing the property and domestic services sector, Zhao has drawn from her personal participation experience to explain the Two Sessions spirit using relatable language and vivid examples. She has focused particularly on interpreting the Government Work Report's directives concerning livelihood-related work.
During preparations for her second presentation, Zhao excitedly shared two "letters of appreciation" received from the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission. The NDRC's letter acknowledged her suggestions regarding enhanced support for national-level new areas, indicating that relevant departments would collaborate to refine policy measures. The Ministry of Finance's response recognized her proposal for developing an integrated elderly care system that combines family support, social services, and government safeguards, while promoting the coordinated development of "property management + domestic services + community dining + elderly care."
Zhao noted that these acknowledgments not only encourage her legislative performance but also demonstrate heightened attention to grassroots livelihood issues. She pledged to continue spreading the Two Sessions spirit to more communities, enterprises, and residents. Simultaneously, she will translate the sessions' outcomes into practical actions by advancing the integrated development of "property management + domestic services + community canteens" to address challenges in elderly and child care, fulfilling her commitment to serve the people as their elected representative.
