Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (GEEKPLUS-W) disclosed a share buyback on 14 July 2026, acquiring 2.00 million WVR ordinary shares B on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for a total consideration of HK$19.45 million. The shares were repurchased at prices ranging from HK$9.49 to HK$9.76, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of HK$9.73 per share.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.20% to 1.014 billion shares, while the treasury-share balance rose to 10.10 million. The total issued share count remained unchanged at 1.024 billion shares.
The buyback forms part of the mandate granted by shareholders on 26 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 102.42 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 10.10 million shares, equivalent to 0.99% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date.
In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Geekplus is subject to a 30-day moratorium on the issuance, sale or transfer of shares following the 14 July buyback, ending on 14 August 2026.
