During the Xiaomi Powertrain Technology Launch event held on the evening of July 30, Lei Jun, founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi Corp., took the stage to deliver a speech. He announced that the CLTC combined range of the Xiaomi Powertrain N90 Max reaches up to 1,705 kilometers, marking the best performance currently achieved by an extended-range SUV.

With this range capability, Lei Jun stated that driving from Shanghai to Beijing, a distance of over 1,200 kilometers, with a full tank of fuel and a full battery, there would be absolutely no need to stop for charging or refueling along the way. He jokingly added that last time, he personally conducted a 15-hour live stream to prove the pure electric range of Xiaomi's vehicles. This time, however, he does not plan to repeat the effort, as it is quite tiring, and instead recommends that others test the vehicle's range themselves.
